Nature All Around Us
I love birds, but Owls and Hawks are my favorite, so they always seem to find a way into my creations!
I think my love of Owls goes back to when I was a child and my Father came to the door one very cold winter day with a beautiful Barn Owl, that he found sitting in the snow and he hopped on my Fathers glove.
He sat contently and watched us, not bothered at all as my sister and I gazed in amazement. I was certain he came to us, not just because he was so cold, but he knew we would appreciate his beauty. After a few blinks of his eyes, to my sister and I, he flew back to his home.

Looking for a Sign
What do you do when you drive by a “Storage Sale” sign…you turn around as fast as you can and find that sale!!! I wasn’t sure what I was going to find, but it was a dream come true. I even dragged my sister with me and went back the next day to hunt for more treasures and wish I would have gotten more!
I have a thing for rusty-crusty things with character, lots of character. Doesn’t matter what it is or was, but I love the look and feel it gives off. It’s got a story to tell and I listen.
I never thought I would collect salt and pepper shakers, but if they are really worn and tattered, it’s for me, I'm hooked…that’s my kind of collection!
I love keys, so why not locks…they're friends! Again only if they are rusty and used do they catch my eye.
I’m dreaming of the day I see that sign again and practically stop traffic whenever I drive past that corner!
